Hold onto your lunch - puking is the new Pollock

Published by

Millie Brown is a hotly tipped new artist with a very unusual technique. Aged 26 she spent her childhood growing up in a Bohemian family who moved around Spain and the South of France. Unable to grasp the local dialect, Millie befriended local street punks and spent a lot of her youth sleeping in abandoned buildings and riding in trucks across Europe. After a brief stint in LA she moved to London at 17 and embarked on her career in performance art and film.

"I have an inherent desire to push my own boundaries within my art" states Millie. This takes the form of Millie drinking milk dyed with vibrant coloured ink and then sticking her fingers down her throat and regurgitating it all over a white canvas or white clothing and filming the entire process resulting in what critics refer to as works of art with an exquisite 'abstract beauty' comparable to Jackson Pollock's infamous splatters.

Such ridiculous behaviour caught the eye of Lady Gaga and Millie appears in Gaga's music video for  'Exorcist Interlude' vomiting turquoise milk all over Gaga's white skirt.

Her debut show 'Muted Chronology' is due to open at The Strand Gallery soon where one of her vomit-covered canvases will be for sale. Experts are advising this is a good time to snap up a Millie Brown original but who will pay to have a stale milk and vomit-covered canvas in their hallway remains to be seen.

If you really want to find out more then watch this video of Millie in action below. I can't say I made it through more than 20 seconds as i've just eaten my lunch. This may be modern art but is it worth messing up your insides for? I don't think so, Millies stomach must hate her.
